An allied health practitioner is a tertiary trained professional who works with others in

the health-care team to support a person’s medical care. The Hospital offers a variety

of allied health services that will work with patients and the health care team to

support their diagnosis, recovery and quality of life.
Such services in the hospital include; community liaison, child health, diabetes education, dietetics, medical imaging, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physiotherapy, respiratory management, speech therapy and social work
